It brings the game up to version 1.005. In April, director Naoki Hamaguchi assured fans that Part 3 was &#8220;proceeding on time and on schedule,&#8221; and asked them to wait for &#8220;just a little longer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">&#8220;What I can say is that development itself is proceeding on time and on schedule,&#8221; Hamaguchi said. &#8220;We believe it\u2019ll become a title we can deliver with confidence as the culmination of the trilogy. We know many fans are eagerly waiting, and preparations toward the announcement are steadily underway. Please look forward to it just a little longer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Final Fantasy 7 Remake was chopped up into three different installments, with Part 1 releasing in 2020 and Part 2 in 2024. That means that even if Part 3 is released by the end of this year, there&#8217;ll have been six years between the release of Part 1 and Part 3.
