It’s crazy to think that it’s somehow been seven months already since Stranger Things’<\/em> emotional finale hit our screens. It’s even crazier<\/em> to think that it’s somehow been ten years \u2014 yes, a whole decade! \u2014 since The Duffer Brothers’ nostalgic sci-fi smash first hit our screens, bringing Dungeons & Dragons, demogorgons, the Upside Down, and the wondrous locks of Steve ‘The Hair’ Harrington into the global spotlight. To mark Stranger Things’<\/em> 10th anniversary, Netflix has just released a special video featuring all of the series’ major players looking back on their memories of creating the show. And the best bit? You can watch it right now. Check it out below;<\/p>\n

Anyone else feeling super nostalgic \u2014 and perhaps just a little bit old \u2014 watching that? Seeing Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Priah Ferguson all grown up \u2014 and Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, and Brett Gelman in full ‘proud parent’ era look-back mode \u2014 has us chomping at the bit to grab some Eggos and start another binge-watch. Handily then, as part of Stranger Things’<\/em> 10th anniversary celebrations, Netflix has also just done something very<\/em> cool: the streamer has released a VHS Special Edition of Season 1 on the platform, enabling us to get even further into the 80s groove with a ‘glitchy, grainy and gloriously vintage’ pan-and-scan style presentation of Will, Mike, El and co’s first outing. (And, in case you were wondering, yes<\/em>, The Duffers have teased that the rest of the show may get the same treatment down the line, too…)<\/p>\n

So there you have it. Stranger Things<\/em> has turned 10 years old. They grow up so fast, don’t they? But, as we well know, the story doesn’t end there. Stranger Things: Tales From ’85<\/em> has already debuted this year to positive fan reaction and has a second season on the way. Prequel play Stranger Things: The First Shadow<\/em> is getting a pro-shot Netflix release sometime in the near feature. And given Stranger Things’<\/em> global phenomenon status, we’ll surely be returning to the Upside Down again and again for many decades to come. Suits us!<\/p>\n
