This month\u2019s IGN First is Control Resonant, and we\u2019ve got plenty of exciting looks at new gameplay to show you, as well as deep dives into the combat, enemies, and world of the game. A follow-up to the 2019 original, Remedy Entertainment\u2019s sequel places you in the shoes of Dylan Faden on his mission to rid a warped Manhattan of the paranatural threats corrupting it. To do so, he\u2019ll need to develop his skills and uncover new abilities. This is where today\u2019s exclusive mission gameplay comes into things.<\/p>\n

The Metro Fault is one of several \u201cFaults\u201d found around this alternate New York. Essentially dungeons, you\u2019ll have to make your way through them in order to acquire the new traversal skill waiting at the end \u2014 in this case, Reach, Resonant\u2019s equivalent of a grappling hook. First, though, you\u2019ll have to go deep underground, dodge trains flying at you from all angles, and fight off fungal Mold foes.
