Quentin Tarantino’s eternal quest not<\/em> to make his 10th \u2014 and supposedly final \u2014 movie continues, friends. Having written a Once Upon A Time In Hollywood novel, a non-fiction book on 70s cinema, founded The Video Archives<\/em> podcast with Roger Avary, penned The Further Mis-Adventures Of Cliff Booth for pal David Fincher to direct, named his favourite films of the 21st century, and<\/em> set his West End playwriting debut, you’d be forgiven for thinking there were no side quests left for QT. But, per Variety<\/em>‘s reporting, that ain’t so: the f\u00eated auteur’s only gone and written the Cliff Booth movie’s official tie-in novelisation.<\/p>\n

Titled The Adventures Of Cliff Booth<\/em>, Tarantino’s latest literary effort is set to be published by HarperCollins on December 8, sandwiching itself between The Further Mis-Adventures Of Cliff Booth<\/em>‘s November 25 IMAX release and its Christmastime December 23 Netflix release. And while the plot of David Fincher’s Brad Pitt starring Once Upon A Time In Hollywood<\/em> sequel\/spin-off remains somewhat under wraps for now, the novelisation’s logline teases how \u201cthe Swinging Sixties are long gone \u2014 but Clifford Booth keeps on keeping on\u2026War hero, stuntman, bartender, cinema projectionist\u2026with the occasional \u201cclandestine services\u201d for his friends\u2026\u201d All of which tallies with that<\/em> there-and-gone Super Bowl trailer, which teased Booth tangling with Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and more in late 70s LA.<\/p>\n

While we know precious little else about The Further Mis-Adventures Of Cliff Booth<\/em> \u2014 or The Adventures Of Cliff Booth<\/em> for that matter \u2014 just yet, anticipation for everyone’s favourite fictitious stuntman’s return is already building. Will Leonardo DiCaprio’s Rick Dalton make an appearance in the film? We don’t know. Will he appear in the book? We don’t know (although that would<\/em> be a much cheaper cameo appearance to pull off.) And will lightning strike twice for the OUATIHCU<\/em>? We guess only time will tell. But of one thing we can be certain: Cliff Booth’s return is as real as a donut. And we are ready for it.<\/p>\n
