And \u2014 AND! \u2014 <em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> is just around the corner, bringing with it the introduction proper of Robert Downey Jr. as one Victor Von Doom. Seriously, could things get any better for MCU fans just now? Well, if you happen to live in the UK then yes, actually, they can. As confirmed to <em>Digital Spy<\/em> by Disney, The Russo Brothers&#8217; upcoming multiversal epic is officially set to hit British cinemas on December 16, a whole two days before the movie&#8217;s December 18 release elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span class=\"content-module-scss-module__RI8h6a__content\" data-test=\"content\"><\/p>\n<p>With both <em>Avengers: Infinity War<\/em> and <em>Endgame<\/em> having previously landed in UK cinemas a day or two before their wider international rollouts, and the above-mentioned <em>Brand New Day<\/em> hitting British shores a couple of days before the US and Canada, <em>Doomsday<\/em>&#8216;s early arrival on this side of the pond isn&#8217;t necessarily surprising. Even so, with <em>Dune: Part Three<\/em> and the much-hyped <em>Dunesday<\/em> having long since been set for December 18, an earlier <em>Doomsday<\/em> drop gives British cinemagoers a chance to space out their probably-three-hour-long blockbuster epics (or, more realistically, cram in an extra trip to Latveria before the mother of all geeky double-bills.)<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span class=\"content-module-scss-module__RI8h6a__content\" data-test=\"content\"><\/p>\n<p>Before <em>Doomsday<\/em>, <em>Dunesday<\/em>, or any of those pre-Christmas festivities kick off however, Marvel stans can look forward to putting together the next piece (or about four) of <em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> with <em>Avengers: Endgame Encore<\/em> on September 25, which promises &#8216;special footage with an extended runtime&#8217; for those who check it out in Infinity Vision and IMAX formats. <em>*Alexa, play &#8216;Portals&#8217; by Alan Silvestri*<\/em> Avengers&#8230; assemble!<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jake Schreier&#8217;s X-Men movie has its cast.
