And like many other modern game demos, you\u2019ll be able to carry over your save data from this trial if you end up buying the full game.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">If you haven\u2019t played it yet, it\u2019s definitely worth a try; we at IGN scored the game a glowing eight out of 10, praising the title for capturing \u201cnot only what made games such as The Sands of Time so good,\u201d but also ironing out \u201cthe little issues that plagued the 3D games in this series by opting for a 2D perspective.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">It\u2019s a refreshing take on the iconic series, and one that\u2019s well worth a shot \u2014 but despite receiving critical acclaim, Ubisoft disbanded the team behind the game after it failed to meet sales expectations, and plans for a sequel were also reportedly scrapped in favor of putting its developers on other projects (like Beyond Good and Evil 2, which is still in development and recently added a writer from Assassin&#8217;s Creed Shadows to its ranks).<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Since then, the game has received a few new modes, updates, story DLC, and even a mobile port, though the possibility of a sequel remains grim.
