A film also more than earned its spot at the top of our best films of 2024. Now, the director is back with an all-new film, A Long Winter, and we now know when it will be heading to UK cinemas, along with its new poster, which you can see here:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"inlineImage-module-scss-module__t19_Pa__image-container block-item\" data-test=\"inline-image-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" data-nimg=\"fill\" src=\"https:\/\/imdbnews.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/all-of-us-strangers-director-andrew-haighs-a-long-winter-confirms-uk-release-date.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"content-module-scss-module__RI8h6a__content\" data-test=\"content\"><\/p>\n<p>MUBI has announced that the drama will be hitting UK cinemas from 15 January 2027, taking us away from the loud streets of London in his last film to an unforgiving winter in Colorado\u2019s Rocky Mountains in 1951. Led by Fred Hechinger and everyone\u2019s favourite Taylor Swift lip-syncer Ebon Moss-Bachrach, the film follows a son (Hechinger) whose life is thrown upside down after his mother vanishes into the wilderness. The film follows a father, son and their town as they are rocked by her disappearance and set out to find her, leading them on a journey of self-discovery.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span class=\"content-module-scss-module__RI8h6a__content\" data-test=\"content\"><\/p>\n<p>The film looks to be just as soulful as the director\u2019s previous outing and, from the few shots we have seen, looks beautifully shot by Andr\u00e9 Turpin, capturing an ice-cold winter landscape. The cast also includes Caitr\u00edona Balfe, as well as a mini Warfare reunion with Kit Connor and D\u2019Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai as part of the ensemble.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span class=\"content-module-scss-module__RI8h6a__content\" data-test=\"content\"><\/p>\n<p>The news comes following its world premiere at the 2026 Telluride Film Festival, with the film also set to show at the 70th BFI London Film Festival this month, where it will receive its UK premiere on 14 October.
