As part of this discussion, they explained their decision to introduce cross-platform support for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S, saying this was done both to keep the game fresh and to actively support the creativity of its modders.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">In fact, the good folks at CDPR have actually partnered with modders in the game\u2019s community as part of these updates, and even credited them with helping keep the title afloat.<\/p>\n<p><span data-cy=\"slideshow-view-trigger\"><\/p>\n<div data-cy=\"slideshow-preview\" class=\"jsx-1711207865 slideshow-preview\">\n<h3 class=\"title5 jsx-62124236 jsx-1085005187\" data-cy=\"slideshow-preview-title\">Cyberpunk TCG Set 2 Art Reveal<\/h3>\n<div data-cy=\"slideshow-images-container\" class=\"jsx-1711207865 images-container\"><button type=\"button\" data-cy=\"hero-image\" aria-label=\"Open Slideshow\" class=\"jsx-1711207865 hero-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"progressive-image jsx-2277167929 image aspect-ratio aspect-ratio-16-9 jsx-2605834259 jsx-2338608387 hover-opacity\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/imdbnews.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/cyberpunk-2-associate-director-says-half-of-games-quest-team-are-former-modders.gif\" data-cy=\"progressive-image\"><\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">\u201cThe modding community is really keeping the game alive,\u201d Sasko said. \u201cI\u2019m very often looking at what our modders are doing, what they\u2019re building. It\u2019s very exciting. There\u2019s so much creativity. We as a studio always try to support our modding community as much as we can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Adding onto this discussion, Sasko revealed that CDPR has sourced quite a few of its staff working on Cyberpunk 2 from the game\u2019s modding scene, saying that around half of its quest team \u2014 designers who create a game\u2019s objectives and storyline segments \u2014 are former modders.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">&#8220;A lot of modders, they were players who actually first played and actually got experience with customizing the game with the mods,&#8221; he said.  &#8220;For me, this is a foot-in-the-door technique, and a gateway into game dev,&#8221; he continues. &#8220;You can see, and you can learn how things are made, how things can be built. We actually hired so many modders.
