EA seems to have quietly pulled a collection of Mass Effect content for Battlefield 6 just days after it shuttered series developer BioWare.<\/p>\n
Battlefield 6 players made a mental note of an incoming Mass Effect collab when themed content was added to cosmetic menus with the launch of Season 5 earlier this month. As captured and shared by fans across social media, the previously locked crossover collection featured some sci-fi weaponry, a Normandy ship weapon charm, and more N7-branded items.<\/p>\n
With a Dead Space crossover having been added at the same time and N7 Day just around the corner, fans suspected they wouldn’t have to wait long to get their hands on the new content. Some even suggested the surprise drop meant EA might have plans to deliver an update on its long-in-development Mass Effect 5 project.
