Having been launched into the spotlight by the one-two punch of <em>The Zone Of Interest<\/em> and <em>Anatomy Of A Fall<\/em> back in 2023, the German actor&#8217;s star has been on the rise and rise, arriving at the point where the past ten months alone have seen the Oscar nominee light it up in <em>Project Hail Mary<\/em>, <em>Rose<\/em>, <em>Fatherland<\/em>, and <em>Digger<\/em>&#8230; and the year ain&#8217;t over yet. Per <em>THR<\/em>&#8216;s reporting, H\u00fcller \u2014 not one to rest on her laurels \u2014 has just added a mystery cameo role in the Russo Brothers&#8217; upcoming <em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span class=\"content-module-scss-module__RI8h6a__content\" data-test=\"content\"><\/p>\n<p>Having conspicuously appeared on the British Stunt Register in recent weeks and been a regular name floating around the online rumour mill over the last couple of months, news of H\u00fcller&#8217;s <em>Doomsday<\/em> involvement may not necessarily come as a total surprise, but official confirmation of her casting is nevertheless sure to be an eyebrow raiser. Of particular interest is the fact that H\u00fcller is specifically making a cameo appearance in the Russos&#8217; all-star superhero battle royale, which \u2014 given the actor&#8217;s stature \u2014 certainly suggests that whoever she may be playing is likely to be unveiled as some sort of surprise or twist in <em>Doomsday<\/em> before potentially going on to occupy a far larger role in Multiverse Saga ender <em>Secret Wars<\/em> next December. Or, at least, that&#8217;s what we would hope.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span class=\"content-module-scss-module__RI8h6a__content\" data-test=\"content\"><\/p>\n<p>Whispers have had H\u00fcller pegged as everything from Doctor Doom&#8217;s wife to his mother to one of those mysterious colour-coordinated Latverian Witches whose presence has become a focal point in both the movie&#8217;s marketing and fans&#8217; theorising as <em>Doomsday<\/em> grows ever nearer. The simple truth at this stage is that in a movie that&#8217;s about to bring all the disparate parts of the MCU together \u2014 from <em>Thunderbolts*<\/em>&#8216; New Avengers and The Fantastic Four to the OG Fox <em>X-Men<\/em> team and beyond \u2014 Sandra H\u00fcller could be playing just about anyone. Fortunately for us here in the UK, we&#8217;ll find out for ourselves very soon, because <em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> hits cinemas in Blighty on December 16.
