Ltd for around $4.6 million. This secures &#8220;full ownership&#8221; of the soulslike action RPG and all future royalties.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">IP rights allow a person or company to patent, trademark, or copyright protect something they&#8217;ve created, even if it&#8217;s an intangible asset, like the story or a particular mechanic in a video game. It has published or distributed the likes of Terraria, Dead by Daylight, and the PC and Xbox releases of Death Stranding. It also previously owned the IP rights to Control, but sold them back to developer Remedy Entertainment in 2024.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">As for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers? The purchase should shore up the franchise for at least the short- and medium-term, if not longer.
