Amazon’s 2026 Gaming Week Sale features some pretty nice deals, but there’s one batch of offers that’s really caught my eye: a few Resident Evil games – Resident Evil 2 remake, Resident Evil 3 remake, Resident Evil 4 remake, and Resident Evil 7 – have all dropped to just $16 at the retailer. Yep, you read that correctly. $16.
This is an excellent offer to take advantage of if you don’t already have one of these games. And if you’ve never played any of these Resident Evils before, you could pick up all four of them for $63.96, which is less than the cost of Resident Evil Requiem at full price (although that’s one I’d certainly still recommend if you’re looking to play beyond the games in this sale).
Each of these games are well worth having in your library. Personally, I’d recommend owning all of them, but the remakes of RE2 and RE4 have a very special place in my heart. It’s not just me that has a lot of praise for them, though. Our reviews for each found a lot to love in them as well.
Both of the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 earned 9s from us in their respective reviews, while Resident Evil 4 landed even higher on our review scale by earning a 10. In our review of the latter, IGN’s Tristan Ogilvie said it’s “the series’ most relentlessly exciting adventure rebuilt, refined, and realised to the full extent of its enormous potential.”
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard may have scored a bit lower than the others, landing at a 7.7, but it’s certainly one that’s still worth playing. When it was originally reviewed, writer Chloi Rad called it, “a fresh take on the Resident Evil series that fondly recalls the classics even as it takes a bold new direction.”
I recently replayed it myself and still very much enjoyed exploring the eerie Baker estate, and its first-person perspective offers a fresh take on the series’ grisly scares. So, if you’re looking for something spooky to play this spring, I think it’s well worth adding to your library.
