به نوعی، پایان سال دوباره از راه رسیده است و این بدان معناست که فصل جوایز فرا رسیده است، از جمله مراسم The Game Awards امسال. در آستانه نمایش دسامبر، The Game Awards لیست نامزدهای امسال را فاش کرده است و نشان می دهد که همه واقعاً، واقعاً، واقعاً از Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 لذت برده اند.
Expedition 33 با 12 نامزدی پیشتاز است که بیشترین میزان در تاریخ The Game Awards است. جدا از جایزه بهترین بازی سال، این بازی برای بهترین کارگردانی، بهترین روایت، بهترین کارگردانی هنری، بهترین موسیقی، بهترین طراحی صدا، بهترین بازی مستقل، بهترین بازی مستقل نوظهور، بهترین نقش‌آفرینی و سه بازیگر برای بهترین اجرا نامزد شده است.
بازی های دیگر نیز با نامزدی های متعدد خودنمایی می کنند، مانند Death Stranding 2 (هفت نامزدی)، Hades II (شش نامزدی)، Hollow Knight: Silksong (پنج نامزدی) و Ghost of Yōtei (هفت نامزدی).
مراسم The Game Awards در 11 دسامبر 2025 ساعت 5 بعد از ظهر به وقت PT/8 بعد از ظهر به وقت ET به صورت دیجیتالی پخش می شود، جایی که ما از برندگان مطلع خواهیم شد و همچنین شاهد سیل تریلرهای بازی ها، تبلیغات، هنرمندان موسیقی، احتمالاً عروسک ها و غیره خواهیم بود.
