We tried to tell you already: if you’re not watching Silo, boy do you need to start watching Silo. Apple TV’s hit drama – based on the novels by Hugh Howey – has proven to be some of the most meticulous streaming sci-fi in recent memory, taking its time to lay the groundwork before dropping major bombshells. And the Season 3 finale was perhaps its most mind-bending instalment yet, packed with revelations, head-scratching new mysteries, and a dollop of human tragedy too. And the good news? The wait for Season 4 is not going to be long; it was shot back-to-back with Season 3, and will bring the whole saga home.
The Season 4 trailer dropped as a little bonus at the end of the Season 3 finale – but be warned, this is majorly spoilery stuff if you’re not up-to-date. If you have seen all of Season 3, feast on the hugely tantalising Season 4 trailer here:
Blimey. After those huge reveals in the Season 3 finale – how nice does Silo 1 look? – there are still plenty of mysteries to solve. Exactly how much time has passed. What’s the point of the whole endeavour? Who dropped the nuke? Is the rest of the world a wasteland too? And the trailer showed more major moves: Sheriff Billings announcing to Silo 18 that there are other Silos out there; Juliet declaring all-out was on Silo 1; flashbacks of the earliest days of Silo life after Helen is bundled inside 18; and Daniel, seemingly wiped of all his memories (and his Troy persona), coming face-to-face with Juliet. It’s going to be one for the ages, by the looks of things.
And there really isn’t long to wait: Silo Season 4 will be coming to Apple TV next summer, beginning on July 9, 2027. Frankly, we don’t want to wait a second longer.
