If you’ve been on gaming Twitter recently, you’ve probably seen a clip from Star Wars: Galactic Racer making the rounds on your timeline — specifically, a player’s interaction with a character named Biddy Blas.
It’s almost impossible to hate the guy, who tells you all about how awesome he is in a hilarious spiel that has somehow become everyone’s new vocal stim. In Huttese, Blas tells you: “Here’s a name for you, amateur! Biddy Blas. Write it down. Tattoo it on your arm, and someday your arm will be worth millions!”
However, it’s the fantastic voice acting behind this line that’s got players cracking up. “Biddy Blas! Scrib doon!” is an undeniable banger, and I personally cannot stop saying it in response to basically anything. (My poor friend group is already tired of it.)
This Star Wars: Galactic Racer voice acting though! 💀🤣 https://t.co/oYkTMT2nSf

Posts of Blas introducing himself have gone viral on social media, to the point where they caught the attention of Lucasfilm Games Producer Craig Derrick, who responded to the overwhelming influx of love for Blas on Twitter/X.
“It’s amazing to see so many people loving Galactic Racer!” he wrote. “Thank you for all the kind words! Every one of my social feeds is filled with posts about the game… while the algorithm continues to properly prioritize Mister Biddy Blas. I love it.”
Biddy Blas is a Crocin who, as players have come to find out, will literally do whatever it takes to win… even if that means giving you a ‘gift’ that’s actually a bomb, which, if you accept it, will explode your ship and give your opponents a major head start.

Hate him or love him, the guy’s the talk of the town right now, with some fans affectionately dubbing him the “glup shitto of the year.”
“I would like to say I’d die for Biddy Blas, but at the same time, I have also slammed him into a wall at like 500mph multiple times at this stage,” one fan joked.
“Biddy Blas is hilarious, I’m going to kill him,” another said after their speeder got blown up thanks to accepting Blas’s ‘gift.’
Star Wars: Galactic Racer has been a major hit with Star Wars fans and critics alike, with IGN’s Luke Reilly scoring the game an 8 out of 10. “Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer that gets a little repetitive thanks to its heavy reliance on repeatedly revisiting the same slim selection of planets, but has successfully lit the afterburners on a long-dormant slice of the Star Wars universe,” he wrote in our review.
It’s a good time to be a pod racer, as developer Fuse Games recently announced that Galactic Racer’s multiplayer party limit will soon double in size in a post-launch patch coming in the next few weeks.
