For a show whose setting is somewhat ingloriously dubbed ‘The Wasteland’, Prime Video’s post-apocalyptic streaming smash Fallout is home to no shortage stars. Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Justin Theroux, Aaron Moten, and many more besides have all drunk the proverbial Nuka-Cola over the last couple of years. And now, following last month’s news that Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul has boarded the upcoming Fallout Season 3, Deadline is reporting three more exciting additions to co-showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet’s next round of irradiated sci-fi goodness.
The Acolyte‘s Manny Jacinto is heading from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away to a little while from now in a country just across the pond for Fallout Season 3. Joining him are Paddington In Peru‘s Emily Mortimer, and Last Night In Soho and Jojo Rabbit star Thomasin McKenzie. Who exactly the trio will be playing in the third instalment of Amazon’s Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy produced series is being kept a secret for the time being, but we do know that all three stars are expected to have recurring roles as opposed to guest spots. And with production on Fallout‘s latest season expected to get underway later this month in Los Angeles, it’s likely we’ll be learning a lot more about what Wagner and Robertson-Dworet have in store very soon.
With Fallout Season 2 having left us with no shortage of questions in desperate search of answers (Why did the Enclave blow up the world? What really happened with the last POTUS? What’s the deal with digi Mr. House? Where are Janey and Barb? Who is going to end up seizing control of New Vegas?), we are chomping at the bit to see how Fallout Season 3 shakes out. And with a constellation of new stars assembling to take one of Prime Video’s biggest shows to the next level, we’re hopeful that the best is yet to come upon our wasteland return…
