A new slate of “full-cast audio dramas” based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher books is set to release in 2026 and 2027. Starting with Crossroads of Ravens, Sapkowski’s latest Witcher novel and a prequel following an 18-year-old Geralt of Rivia, which is out now.
Rather than a traditional audiobook built around a single narrator, the new production uses an ensemble cast alongside original music and sound design to bring Sapkowski’s world to life.

The cast includes Sam Stafford as Young Geralt, Richard Armitage as Preston Holt, Clare Corbett as Nenneke, Tom Alexander as Artamon of Asguth, Peter Kenny as the narrator, among others.
That’s only the beginning as well, with the publisher planning to work through the rest of Sapkowski’s Witcher saga over the next two years. The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny are scheduled to follow in November 2026, before the rest rolls out across 2027.

The Witcher’s move into full-cast audio is just as notable, given just how many different interpretations of Sapkowski’s world already exist.
As many fans will likely already be aware, the fantasy books have already inspired globally successful video games and TV series, alongside various animated films, comics, and more.
Now, with the new audiobooks, fans are getting another way experience Geralt’s adventures through a completely different set of performances.
There’s certainly no shortage of other Witcher projects on the horizon, either.
CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Remastered is due to arrive on September 29, while the surprise Songs of the Past expansion is planned for next year. The Witcher 4 is currently targeting 2028, with Ciri taking over as the game’s main protagonist.
Netflix’s live-action adaptation is also heading into its fifth and final season, now expected in 2027 after a supposed delay.
Then there’s the author’s next Witcher novel, which Sapkowski has confirmed is already underway and is targeting for completion in 2027.
He has also told IGN in a recent interview that he is considering writing even more short stories, and suggested that there is still plenty of room to explore Geralt’s formative years following Crossroads of Ravens.
